Cookie Policy

Version 1.0 - Last updated: 24 July 2026

Applies to Regelix's website and to cookies and similar techniques used there. This cookie policy describes which categories of cookies and similar techniques Regelix may use, why they are used, and how visitors can manage their preferences.

1. Who we are

This cookie policy applies to Regelix's website, registered under KVK number 61803499 and reachable via info@regelix.nl.

2. What are cookies and similar techniques?

Cookies are small files that may be stored on or read from a device when visiting a website. Similar techniques include local storage, session storage, pixels, scripts, web beacons, and device or browser identifiers. In this policy, these techniques are collectively referred to as cookies.

3. Why does Regelix use cookies?

To make the website function technically and securely; to remember language and cookie preferences; to make forms and sessions work correctly; to prevent or investigate abuse, fraud and technical errors; to analyze use of the website where this is done in a privacy-friendly way or after consent has been obtained; and to activate external content or marketing functionality where consent has been given.

4.1 Necessary cookies

These cookies or storage techniques are required for technical operation, security, session management, or storing cookie preferences. They cannot be disabled via cookie settings where the website cannot function properly or securely without this technique.

4.2 Functional cookies

Functional cookies remember choices, such as the selected language or certain interface preferences. Techniques with no or only minor privacy impact generally do not require prior consent.

4.3 Analytics cookies

Analytics cookies may provide insight into the use and performance of the website. Analytics techniques with a minor privacy impact may be used without consent when set up in a privacy-friendly way and visitors are informed about it. For privacy-sensitive analytics techniques, consent is requested in advance.

4.4 Marketing and tracking cookies

Marketing and tracking cookies may track visitors across websites or services, build profiles, personalize ads, or measure campaigns. These techniques are only activated after consent has been given in advance.

4.5 Third-party cookies

Third parties may place cookies when their services are integrated, such as videos, maps, chat, booking systems, payment providers, forms, or social media services. Non-necessary external services are, where technically possible, only loaded after consent.

5. Current technical applications

In the basic version of the website, Regelix uses only necessary and limited functional techniques. The specific technique may change as the website is technically updated.

Cookie preference (Regelix) - Necessary: remembers the chosen cookie categories. Retention: max. 12 months.

Language preference (Regelix) - Functional: remembers the chosen language. Retention: max. 12 months.

Session and security data (Regelix and/or hosting provider) - Necessary: secure operation, session management and protection against abuse. Retention: session or max. 24 hours.

Under this version of the policy, Regelix does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If analytics or marketing services are added later, this policy and the cookie settings will be updated beforehand.

6. Consent

Where consent is legally required, the relevant cookies are only placed or read after the visitor has made an active choice.

Non-necessary categories are off by default; choices are not pre-checked; rejecting is as easy as accepting; consent is requested per purpose or category; consent can be withdrawn at any time; and the website's core functions remain available without consent for marketing or privacy-sensitive analytics cookies.

7. Changing preferences and withdrawing consent

Cookie preferences can be changed at any time via the Cookie settings link in the footer or via the cookie window. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.

8. Removing cookies via the browser

Cookies can be removed or blocked via browser settings. Blocking necessary or functional techniques may cause parts of the website to not work properly.

9. Personal data

Cookies may process personal data, such as an IP address, device and browser data, unique identifiers, pages visited, date and time of a visit, and language or cookie preferences. More information is available in Regelix's Privacy Policy.

10. Transfers outside the EEA

If external cookie, analytics, or marketing services are used in the future, data may be processed outside the European Economic Area. Regelix will then use a legally permitted transfer basis and appropriate safeguards, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.

11. Retention periods

Cookies and similar data are not retained longer than necessary for the relevant purpose. The maximum periods stated in this policy apply unless a shorter technical period is used. Non-necessary cookies are not placed again after withdrawal; existing cookies can be removed via the browser or cookie settings.

12. Changes

Regelix may update this cookie policy when the website, techniques used, suppliers, or laws and regulations change. The current version is published on the website with the date of the last change.
